Severe Weather Information

  • Decisions concerning severe weather are made as soon as possible prior to each class.  Occasionally, we cannot make that decision prior to you arriving at our facility, but we will call or text you as soon as we know.  If you are unsure and need the latest information we have, please call.  If you have NOT heard from us, we WILL be having class and we do not want you to miss it.

  • Whereas rain and wet conditions cancel other outdoor activities, swim lessons operate differently. Rain during one point of the day or night cannot determine the conditions for swimming at the time of your class.  Also, storms in one location in West TN may not indicate poor conditions at our facility.  Thank you for your patience as we make decisions based on the weather.

  • We can swim in rainy or cool conditions because our pool is heated.

  • When lightning and/or thunder is present at our facility, even if it is not raining, we will NOT be in the water.  The most current conditions at our facility will determine if we will be in the water.

For the First Day of Class

  • Each child should be dressed in a swimsuit.

  • Bring a towel.

  • If you prefer, bring goggles and make sure that they securely fit and will not need adjustment during class.

  • If you owe a cash or check payment, be prepared to pay in full to the instructor on the first day.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to meet the instructor and receive additional instructions concerning your class and the session.
